This edition explores:
- Persistent acceleration in global sea-level rise since the 1960s
- Remote reefs and seamounts are the last refuges for marine predators across the Indo-Pacific
- Recent pace of change in human impact on the world’s ocean
Every month Communications Inc undertakes a critical review of recently published scientific literature from peer reviewed journals. Undertaken by one of our marine science colleagues, research is focused on specific topic areas including climate change, marine pollution, deep-sea ecosystems, the High Seas, coral reefs, Marine Protected Areas, fisheries and ocean industries.
Reports are sourced from databases such as Web of Science and Google Scholar and several weekly and daily marine-focused newsletters.
Keeping abreast of developments in relevant science is key to informing the solutions and policy required to protect our ocean and our aim is to provide this information in an easily digestible and applicable format.
